Hosts and guests can have their identity verified. Verified profiles are marked accordingly. We recommend interacting with verified users whenever possible.

Our mutual review system creates transparency and trust. Read reviews from other guests carefully before booking.
Secure communication
Keep all communication and payments on our platform. Be careful with requests asking you to move outside the platform or make direct payments. That can be a warning sign of fraud.
Safety at the property
Before booking
- Read the property description and all reviews carefully.
- Clarify any open questions with the host in advance.
- Check the cancellation policy.
- Make sure the property meets your needs, for example with regard to accessibility.
During your stay
- Familiarize yourself with the emergency exits.
- Check that smoke detectors and fire extinguishers are working.
- Keep important phone numbers handy.
- Report any damage or safety issues to the host immediately.
